Sarvis 843 Katrilli Cups & Saucers by Tauno Tarna (Yellow)
Set of 5 Sarvis Katrilli cups and saucers, designed by Finnish designer Tauno Tarna in 1969. The cups and saucers are model 843 and come in a bright yellow colour, with the simple, rounded shape that makes the Katrilli series so recognisable. Made from ABS plastic, these cups are lightweight, stackable and made for everyday use. We love the bright yellow colour and the very simple, functional design as they are stackable for easy storage. The set is in great condition with minor signs of age and usage.
The Katrilli series was produced by Sarvis in Finland from 1969 onwards and became one of the company's best-known designs. Tauno Tarna's designs for Sarvis are a great example of how plastic was being used in Finnish design to create practical objects with a strong and playful character.
