The Bijou desk lamp was designed by Louis Kalff for Philips in the 1950s. The design is based on the Evoluon building in Eindhoven which is also designed by Louis Kalff. He was an architect and designer from the Netherlands and made multiple different lamp designs for Philips.
This lamp is in a good vintage condition and comes with a special gold mirrored bulb that fits perfectly with this lamp.
