PH4/3 pendant lamp designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. Poul Henningsen designed this three-sade system in 1925. The first lamps were designed for an exhibition in Paris. His work sought to create glare-free light, direct light where it was most needed, and soft shadows, using incandescent bulbs as a light source. The PH4/3 was launched in 1966 and this design follows the general three-shade system based on the logarithmic spiral, with the centre of the light source positioned at the centre of the spiral. This light is a simplification of the light designed in 1929.
This lamp is in good vintage condition with some signs of usage. The lamp discoloured slightly and has this off white vintage color. There are also some marks which can be seen in the pictures.
It fits a normal E27 bulb (not included).
