Round Rey table designed by Bruno Rey for Kusch+Co in the 1970s. Bruno Rey, born 1935, opened his own design atelier in 1968. Here he designed a new kind of wooden chair which went into production with Dietiker in 1971. Later known as the "Rey Chair" it became the most successful Swiss chair of all time. Alongside the Rey Chair he also designed a range of tables and stools in the same design.
This is the round table with the same cast aluminum brackets and beech wooden legs. The table top is laminated with white laminate which works perfect as a table top. It's easy to clean and very strong and scratch resistant. The table is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures. Normal signs of usage for a table of this age. Please note that this is a small version of this table with only a diameter of 60 cm. This means that it doesn't fit a Rey dining chair to fit in between the legs of the table. It's a perfect table for smaller spaces and works best with small chairs or stools.
