Beautiful pendant lamp designed by Klaus Hempel for Kaiser Leuchten. This hanging lamp is in a vibrant red color, made from metal in Germany in the 1970s. It is a rare design lamp that you don't see often. Klaus Hempel won multiple design awards with this design like the IF Product Design Award in 1972. This lamp fits an E27 mirrored bulb where the mirror side sticks out on the under side and blocks the direct light from the bulb. Instead all the light is cleverly diffused with its design and the light is reflected by the shades or red metal. It's in great condition.
