Iittala 3450 Stellaria Bowl by Tapio Wirkkala (Small)
Iittala Stellaria bowl designed by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. This is the smallest version of the Stellaria bowl, produced by Iittala from 1970 to 1985. The clear glass has a beautiful structured surface which catches the light in a really nice way. It has a simple but very sculptural shape and looks great with a few flowers or branches, but is also beautiful on its own.
Tapio Wirkkala was one of Finland's most important designers and is especially known for his work with glass. The Stellaria bowl is a great example of his ability to turn a simple object into something special through the shape and texture of the material.
The bowl is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures. The bowl is unmarked.
