Lowboard or bench designed by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem. This cabinet is manufactured in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Ate van Apeldoorn founded Houtwerk van Hattem and is known for his simplistic furniture designs. He only used locally produced wood. Therefor his designs are made from Dutch pine trees. He wanted to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

This lowboard is made with beautiful dovetail wood connection which has become Ate van Apeldoorns signature for most of his pieces. It consists of a bench with a drawer that can be pulled out completely as it's a separate part on wheels. This piece is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures.
