Herman Miller round dining table with contract base and teak top. Designed by Charles Eames in 1957 as part of the Alu Group series. The Eames Contract Base table range provided a great versatility with its neutral appearance and array of finishes. The range was ideal of use as either a dining tabel at home or as conference table in a workplace. The base was the successor to the Model 650 dining table. It replaces the 'spider' base with a new cross pattern which became known as the 'Contract Base'. The first releases of this table were with a laminated plastic, glass or marble table top in two different sizes. Later in the 1960s natural veneer tops as well as other sizes and heights variants were added.

This table has a teak veneered table top and is in great condition with normal signs of wear for its age. There are some scratches and marks which can be seen in the pictures. The table top and base can be separated for easier transport.
