Bulb desk lamp produced in the 1970s. Designed in the shape of an oversized light bulb, the lamp combines a yellow lacquered metal base with an opaline glass shade, resulting in a playful yet minimalist design inspired by the iconic Edison bulb. The designer and manufacturer remain unknown, although the design recalls the celebrated Bulb lamp by Ingo Maurer.

The combination of opaline glass, yellow lacquered metal and brass details creates a soft, diffused light while emphasising the sculptural silhouette. A distinctive piece that works equally well on a side table, desk or bedside table. It's in great condition as the base has been repainted in this beautiful yellow color. The lamp fits an E14 bulb (not included).
