Antique rectangular floor mirror made from solid wood with a solid oak backboard with a glass mirror, which means this mirror had quite some weight to it. While this mirror is definitely antique looking at the way its made and the age it has, the vendor we picked this mirror up from at an antique fair claimed it was a real "Biedermeier". The old man claimed to have worked his hole life as an antique appraiser for an auction house, but we haven't been able to verify if this mirror is indeed 19th century and made by Biedermeier, we don't believe it to be this old and nor do we think it's made by them. Still a good story and still a lovely mirror! It's in great condition as can be seen form the pictures.
