Artek Model E60 stool designed by Alvar Aalto. This is the Model 60 with four legs instead of three. It's in white lacquer and produced in 2008 as can be seen on the mark underneath the stool. It's made in Finland from solid birch wood. Alvar Aalto created a way to bend the wood by carving slits in them, curve them and then glue them again. This method was used before the more popular, easier and cheaper way of bending plywood. It's in great condition with a normal signs of usage.
