Houtwerk Hattem Pine Side Table by Ate van Apeldoorn
Side table designed by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem. It's is manufactured in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Ate van Apeldoorn founded Houtwerk van Hattem and is known for his simplistic furniture designs. He only used locally produced wood. Therefor his designs are made from Dutch pine trees. He wanted to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
This side table is made with beautiful box joint wood connection which has become Ate van Apeldoorns signature for most of his pieces. It is in great condition with normal signs of age to the piece as can be seen in the pictures.
