This coffee or side table is a great item designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen in the 1950s. In Dutch the model is known under the name 'Mug' which translate to 'Mosquito' in English. An iconic design to represent Dutch industrial design from this era. The base of this table is made from tubular steel with a blue lacquered shelf, with a round glass table top. This table is in beautiful vintage condition with normal signs of its age. The glass top has some surface scratches which are normal for a piece of this age.
