Very Rare Pastoe BB54 secretary cabinet or desk designed by Cees Braakman and produced in the 1950s. This design is part of the Birch series by Cees Braakman. It's well known for it's loop or U-shaped legs that are made from bent plywood. The cabinet is made from Birch wood veneer. It has a flap so can be used as a writing desk as well as storage and this edition also has two sliding doors for extra storage. 

This piece is in great condition as it has been fully restored by us. It was completely painted white unfortunately. So we stripped the complete cabinet to bring it back in to it's original condition. It's been refinished and the sliding doors have received a contrasting orange layer of paint, which suits this design and time-period very well.
