Strip chairs designed by Gijs Bakker for Castelijn. This iconic Dutch design piece is just amazing. Designed by famous Dutch designer Gijs Bakker and manufactured by Castelijn in the 1970s. This is the more rare version with armrests. The normal chairs are made of 4 strips of laminated beechswood linked by dowels, the version with armrests has to extra strips of beechwood. Allegedly there were only a thousand of these made with armrests. The chairs are stackable up to six chairs, even with the armrest. We have just one in stock in black. It's in a beautiful and fully original condition with normal signs of wear. Please see the pictures as part of the description.
