Braun SK5 Phonosuper by Hans Gugelot & Dieter Rams
The SK5 or better known as the Snow White's Coffin (Schneewittchensarg) is designed by Hans Gugelot and Dieter Rams in 1958 for Braun. It's equipped with a vinyl player, radio and built-in speaker. The SK5 is a beautiful pieces of design and can also be found in the permanent collection of MoMa.
The radio receives shortwave and longwave channels. The PC3 SV turntable is equipped with a stereo crystal pickup system and is also prepared for stereo playback. The SK5 remains a mono system. This piece is in excellent condition and has been serviced and all parts are in working condition.
