The Braun wall-mounted system is one of the most sought-after Hi-Fi systems from the 1960s. The iconic set is designed by Dieter Rams together with Braun and Vitsoe. It's one of his most famous work and the set features a TS 45 amplifier and radio, TG 60 tape recorder, L 470 speakers, PCS 5 turntable with a Vitsoe shelving unit with two shelves. One of the shelves has the rare vinyl holders in them as well. The PCS 5 turntable is also held by specially made brackets, this is extremely rare as most combinations now have the turntable on one of the two shelves instead of in the specific brackets.
The Braun Hi-Fi wall unit is very desired by enthusiastic Braun collectors. This absolute rarity is rarely offered as a complete system, and when it is, it's rarely in this pristine condition. This wall unit has been completely checked and serviced by a technician. The set comes with original new Vitsoe spirit level and a new DPR 26 double play tape.

The TS 45 was developed in 1965 and features an amplifier and radio in one. The amplifier section has inputs for tape, phono, and radio receiver for several bands. The radio features shortwave, mediumwave and longwave accompanied by a FM stereo section. When the radio is connected to an antenna, the quality of the radio reception is great. There is a field intensity display and a stereo indicator light, which gives the FM section a complete look. The amplifier power is 2 x 15 watts.

The TG 60 Tape Recorder was designed by Dieter Rams and the technical implementation of the requirements was done by engineer Wolfgang Hasselbach. It’s equipped with 3 Pabst electric motors and can easily be operated. It is specially calibrated for the Braun TB 631 tape. The 18 cm reel can play back about 45 minutes of stereo recordings at a speed of 19cm/s. Three separate half-track head for erasing, recoding and playback allow back-tape control of the recording, as it was only common in highly professional studio tape recordings from Revox and Studer at that time.

These speakers were designed to match the TS 45 and the Audio 2 compact system. They were made in white, graphite and walnut veneer. They are equipped with a 5.1 inch woofer and a 1.3 inch high range loudspeaker. Transition frequency at 1500 Hz, power rating 28 watt at 4 Ohm, the frequency range goes from 33-25000 Hz.

The PCS 5 turntable or record player has an ingenious drive mechanism with friction wheel and belt transmission suppressing all engine running irregularities, which would appear as a dull rumble. A precision motor and a heavy, balanced plate drive provide the highest possible speed constancy so that even a trained musician will not notice any pitch fluctuations. The tonearm has elaborate adjustment options for perfect record playback comfort and it is equipped with a tonearm lift for manual operation. It has four different speeds: 16, 33, 45 and 78rpm.
