Beautiful large wooden plate in this vibrant red color. Designed by Astrid Sampe for AB Åry Nybro in Sweden. Astrid Sampe was best known for her textile designs from around 1950. These plates are a beautiful example of her minimalist style with clean lines and geometric shapes. This plate approximately dates from the middle of the 20th century and is clearly marked on the back with a makers mark sticker. The plate is in good vintage condition with minor signs of use.
