Volcano glass tea light holder designed by Swedish glass artist Rune Strand for Nybro Glasbruk. Made from thick clear glass, the holder has a textured, ribbed surface that creates the appearance of an ice formation. When lit, the glass catches and refracts the candlelight across its surface.

The Volcano series dates from the 1970s and 1980s. Rune Strand (1924–2000) came from a family of glassmakers and worked with several Swedish glassworks throughout his career, including Kosta, Strömbergshyttan and Hovmantorp. He later designed for Nybro Glasbruk, where he developed a range of glass objects combining traditional glassmaking techniques with sculptural forms.
