These four chairs we have in stock are from the 1950s and were upholstered before. The upholstery has been removed and the seats have been refinished, the veneer on the seat therefor also shows beautiful knots in them which normally doesn't show on the chairs, but this gives these chair extra character and makes them more unique. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA key feature of the design is Aalto's innovative L-leg construction. By cutting narrow grooves into solid birch, the wood could be bent into shape before being glued, creating a strong and elegant joint.
